hopefully this will be the last time I do this, but i moved the blog once again. www.lekrologik.com/blog . I’m too lazy to transfer everything so it’s like a new blog. Check it out and bookmark, now I got a reason to update more often plus I got unlimited storage and unlimited bandwidth.
It’s not even November and a couple days ago the first traces of snow started coming down from the sky mixed with some rain and a lot of fucking cold ass wind. Now I don’t know if I made the right choice by moving here (Toronto). Meanwhile one of my best mates left last Wednesday to Florida (lucky fuck) which means I’ll be spending more time alone, this means I won’t be distracted as much from the things I like to do like fucking around with live and reason. Oh, and this reminds me of something. The track Fake Rain which I produced with Vanina a friend of mine from Argentina was released a couple months back or something, I’m not a big fan of the original since it was not 100% done when It got released, it’s missing some equalizing and that sorta stuff so it sounds weird on some speakers but whatever, the remix Sound Diffusion did of the track was charted by Hernan Cattaneo last month. I know, I know, it’s a remix of the track but I don’t care, I was shocked to see my track and name listed among artists I like. Here’s the track.
On other news, a couple weeks ago it was Guvernment’s 12 Year Anniversary. What a killer party it was! I was surprised with Eric Prydz, not because he covered Kleinenberg with toilet paper or maybe paper towels (Picture above), but because he doesn’t suck like most “mainstream” djs, he was melodic (Yes, he played Pjanoo) but somehow managed to keep that at a minimum and mixed in lots of techno (not techno techno, minimal techno) which kept everyone up and dancing ’till Kleinenberg started mixing.. in my opinion, Prydz should have played the closing set but I believe for some reason that people in Toronto love Kleinenberg a lot more. Need proof? watch this video, 7:19 in the morning and people are still dancing as if it was 3am. Not even in Peru do people do that! Yes, sure, we party late, but starting at 6 more less everyone turns into a zombie.
i’ll be back… I got a 16 hour shift at work today.. 12 hours to go. X|

A couple days ago while looking around Buffet Libres rewind project page (post about it coming up) I saw a remix/cover by Trash Yourself and I started wondering, what’s up with Trash Yourself, the NWA remix was the first I heard of them in months, so it was good to hear from them via myspace a couple days later ‘cus thanks to that I got this hot shits for you, 5 new tracks you can download here, all Trash Yourself related and all bangin’, I really like their NWA version of Fuck The Police, Headbangin’ shit and if for some crazy reason you still don’t have ‘em on MySpace, here’s the link.

Guess who got his bag checked for cocaine at the Toronto International Airport? if you guessed it was me you are correct, apparently there was “residues” all over my bag and I had to get an extensive search at the airport, they say it was ‘cus they found the residues which I understand but I know the only reason they did that weird coke residue test first was only because they figured I was coming from Peru, which sadly I also understand, we produce 33% of the worlds cocaine so they got reason to believe I was trying to smuggle shit into the country, anyway, yesterday was my first night out here and after buying a nice pipe on the afternoon and having some beers at night I started running into posters of nice parties being held here in Toronto, first was Tiesto which I knew I wouldn’t like but then I saw one with Donald Glaude and Dj Dan, it’s a bit better, and then finally this one, Viva Toronto a Canada Day party at The Guvernment featuring Steve Lawler, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli and some of my favorites such as L.A Riots, Kill The Noise, DJ Hype and Guns ‘N’ Bombs (guns ‘n’ bombs appear on the flyer but not on the clubs site :S).
